Narinoa cracked open an eye to see who was nudging his foot and grinned when he saw L’gan. It had been a while since he’d seen the greenrider and he found he had missed him now that he saw him. He supposed keeping busy and not having a dragon of his own for easier visits would do that. “Sticking around,” he answered as he sat up and gave a little stretch.
“I’d offer to cover up but I don’t think you’ve ever minded the view,” Narinoa teased with a light chuckle though he did grab his shirt that had been his pillow to move it beside him. He wasn’t likely to leave without it but it didn’t hurt to keep the reminder more in his line of sight. His shorts still hung low and he should have pulled them up before sitting up but it was too late now. At least he remained covered, though like he stated, he doubted his friend would mind.
“What brings you to Benden? If it’s to console me on another failed attempt at Impressing, I’m fine, I promise. It’s getting closer to the end for me but I’ll still have the dragonhealing.” That really did help keep him positive. Without that, he would have been useless and left to tend to the herd beasts or some such essential but disheartening job for the rest of his life.
