Her explanation covered what he'd already surmised about the event. A moment's distraction and inexperience combined had nearly caused a disaster. The girl already seemed plenty upset over her near miss, and T'vor had gotten into enough trouble as a child that he didn't feel the need to chastise the girl further. She was lucky though he'd foudn her and not one of the older riders or one of the kitchen staff.
T'vor gave a quick shake of his head. "No real harm done and as long as we get this cleaned up no one will find out." He said, giving Flora a reassuring smile. "But, no more cooking unless someone else is around." He cautioned, glancing toward the mess the incident had left behind.
"Well lets say we get this cleaned up and then we can pretend it never happened." He offered. Keeping his mouth shut would be much help if one of the kitchen workers wandered in and demanded to know what had happened. He had no desire to be around if that happened and doubted being a Weyrlings would spare him a scolding. "I'm T'vor by the way. Your Flora right?" He asked, crouching down to pick up some of the larger pieces of blackened fabric from the floor.
