Stepping lightly, Casa made her way through the Weyr towards the rooms where the goldriders spent most of their socialising together. It wasn’t really restricted to just the goldriders, but none of the other dragonriders or staff seemed to be interested in infiltrating the room. Casa honestly enjoyed it; she got to spend time with the other women in the same position as herself, and she found she could be open and honest with them. Most of the current conversation was, of course, gossip about what was inside Nadioth’s eggs, and the fact that she’d been won by N’mor’s bronze Rhezalth.
Casa was no different, of course, but she found T’ryn’s discomfort with the topic curious and amusing. She assumed it was because they were dating (ee!) and the implication that Thallyath would fly someday in the future – hopefully soon! – and Casa wasn’t shy about hinting that T’ryn should have his bronze give chase. She hoped they would win, but Thallyath was ever the sour-sud and seemed to greatly dislike Syrendryth. She didn’t realise the dislike was mutual.
Letting herself into the room, Casa glanced around curiously. It was early in the evening, and a lot of people were still at dinner, so she wasn’t surprised to see the room mostly empty. Mostly, because she spotted the form of Ambrya off to one side, and, smiling, she made her way over to the other girl. She hadn’t really interacted much on a personal level with the younger goldrider, but that didn’t mean she didn’t like her! She found her interesting and friendly, honestly, and enjoyed her input to conversations when they were with the larger group.
“Hello Ambrya!” Casa chirped happily as she threw herself into the armchair opposite the one Ambrya was sitting in, flinging one trousered leg over the armrest and sprawling across the other inelegantly. “What cha doing?”
’What are you doing?’ Thallath corrected, her tone irritated at both Casa’s lack of proper grammar, and her very unladylike pose on the seat. Casa rolled her eyes, but didn’t respond to her uppity gold.
@"Arielle"
