R’dare laughed, stuck somewhere between agreeing with Casa and wondering why she didn’t see how fun N’mor could be if he was pestered enough. She was a pretty great example herself of being someone that could hide who she really was and gave off an appearance she wanted others to see. “No doubt! Z’rin is pretty old, though. I wonder if that makes him boring or as entertaining and practiced as someone like K’tir or R’vi. N’mor kept doing that stoic face with the occasional amused eyebrow twitch thing he does so I still don’t know for sure.”
With glass in one hand and the other free to do as it pleased, R’dare gave in and grabbed a few papers that his gaze kept drifting back to when Casa had been getting the drinks, though he ignored the map since it looked fresh and he didn’t want to risk a smudge. “Just for fun, huh? Casa, these are dates and special events for a Hold.” Was she studying history? Did the map mean she was doing geography as well? What was this girl up to and how could he get in on it? Probably best not to risk damaging anything if he wanted to get answers so the papers were set down and he sat down.
“And we’re up to nothing exciting, like usual. Well, until now. Now I’m at least being a nosy bluerider that just has to know what the so-called ditzy blonde is doing.” If only people knew what Casa was doing in her free time when the clothes stayed on! No one would call her ditzy again.
