R’dare kept his smile in place as he entered the weyr in order to help hide his shock. He wasn’t expecting Casa to be dressed in such clothes that fit the lazy vibe she was suddenly giving off after he own initial shock of his arrival. She looked comfortable and a glance around the living room showed the likely reason for it. If he had to guess, she had likely been sitting at her desk going through all the papers scattered there. No point in dressing up for such work, especially if it was going to leave ink on the skin, like Casa also currently displayed.
“Only if you’re thirsty and I’ll have whatever you have,” he didn’t want to be an inconvenience any more than his surprise visit probably already was. He also knew some friends of theirs wouldn’t accept a drink from Casa after the camping trip without watching her make it but she always told him if she was going lace his drink with that crazy mixture. Besides, he couldn’t believe she would purposely drug anyone without their knowledge. That was too cruel for Casa.
“It can be a short visit as well since it looks like you were working. I was looking for someone to hang out with but I just came from picking on N’mor. Z’rin’s pretty cool; so chill and can take a joke well. I’m happy N’mor found someone like that. Might make him less boring,” R’dare teased but he didn’t think the bronzerider was boring, nor did he think he was overly arrogant like many believed. N’mor was simply N’mor and had to overcome different obstacles than them. People saw what they wanted to see in someone, like thinking Casa was only a dumb whore. R’dare knew there was more than the surface appearance his friends gave off and everyone else was missing out.
