N'gelt stiffened at I'shan's sudden tight hug, patting his back somewhat awkwardly as a reaction. He was innately glad that I'shan seemed to be rebounding backing his usual chirpy self, though physically he was still a little on the rigid side, unable to relax within I'shan's grateful embrace. The kiss surprised him again, though it did cause him to relax ever so slightly.
He glanced down as I'shan spoke, surprisingly curious about I'shan's hatred of violence. It wasn't something N'gelt indulged in often, after all it caused him to be in pain as well as whoever he had decided to or provoked into attacking. Despite that, he seemed to enjoy the rush, with the adrenaline that pumped through his system and not to mention being able to tell the story of how he fought and won against a man. Usually they were Bronzeriders, ones that 'provoked' him into a fist-swinging rage and he was defused easily and quickly, but he would never admit that.
I'shan's fingers in his hair felt pleasant, reminding him of his mother doing that when he hadn't felt on top of the world when he was a child. The memory took him by surprise, much like everything was tonight, but it was welcomed happily and he leant into the touch. As he did a wave of exhaustion swept over him, causing him to sway slightly. Grunting he shuffled back onto the bed and flopped down onto it. Reaching forward he grabbed I'shan and pulled him down, clutching him almost like a young child would a beloved doll.
More exhaustion slipped over him as he gave I'shan a nuzzle without realising he was doing it. Most of I'shan's words had gone in one ear and out the other, but maybe, just maybe, he'd remember in the morning that beating up his friends was a bad idea.
