Of course it had to be Casa and of course she still couldn’t take a hint. Actually, he figured she could and just chose not to so she could have the upper hand. After a while of both observing her and listening to Mylorah and Sh’ran say Casa was smarter than she let on, Kordiavis was starting to believe it. He decided she was clever and devious but a ditzy whore still ranked fairly high on the list of character traits she possessed as well.
“Having to be near you brings it out in me,” he shot back, eyes back on his art after watching the girl settle in instead of leaving. At least she was out of his light. He wondered how long her attention span would last before she left to find a toy that wanted to be played with. Maybe two minutes. Five at most but Kordiavis wasn’t sure he could last that long if she wanted to continue with that cheerfulness she was pouring on thick for him.
“What do you want, Casa?” There had to be a reason for her to seek him out. Maybe it was coincidence that she found him on her own stroll away from the world but given she joined him, she had to want something. Knowing how much time she spent with Azrin made him a bit uneasy. He never trusted Azrin and his devil-may-care attitude and always felt like the High Reaches second son was the most dangerous in the room. Casa was currently giving off those same vibes and he wondered what lessons she was being taught. Mylorah insisted it was only history but Mylorah also wasn’t the best liar.
