J’shom smiled at the way Erebuth attempted to hide himself under Beckitt’s arm - B’kit, he’d have to remember, he’d even asked after it, but for some reason he kept forgetting - and complained about having guests. It was endearingly over dramatic as most things young dragonets did were. Siolilth had been a terror at that age, having plenty to say about all the people around them with no filter or volume control. Thank goodness she had outgrown the last two, even if she was still snide and opinionated.
“I don’t mind at all,” he said cheerfully at B’kit’s request, and moved to settle himself against the wall. J’shom wasn’t entirely sure if it would be better if Erebuth could see him or not, so he picked a spot where Erebuth could fairly easily keep an eye on him or ignore him with no more than a slight shift of his head. “Being pampered is very important at his age. Siolilth would argue it’s important at all ages, but she isn’t here so we can ignore that.” He smiled, watching B’kit oil the tiny dragonet. Goodness but Erebuth was small. From size alone he could almost be mistaken for a large firelizard, though color and proportions made it clear he was a dragon proper. J’shom couldn’t wait to watch him grow up.
