L’gan was kept busy for the morning and lunch hour ferrying holders and healers to and fro. He’d meant to take Sariel himself, but he and Semath were already at Telgar when the brown landed with her. They wrapped up as quickly as they could, then passed the torch to another pair. He landed and stuffed his riding gear in a pouch he handed to Semath to carry to wherever she decided to sun. See you soon, darling. Don’t get in trouble.
The greenrider snagged a meatroll and went to find Sariel; no mean feat in this crowd! He finally found her with some help from Semath mindspeaking a few other dragons, and went over to the stall where she shopped. L’gan slipped an arm around her waist and kissed her cheek. “You look fantastic.” He himself wore a pale green tunic shirt with embroidered leaves on the collar and hem. It was still the simple cut he preferred, but nicer fabric, as he didn’t expect any emergencies.
They browsed the stalls together for a while and he found her a small leather roll which could work well as a travel surgeon’s kit, buying it while she was distracted buying a toy for the twins. “Almost ready for a dance?” he asked when she came back over.
