Mylorah kept glancing at their baby girls as Tazikel gave a brief rundown of how the talk with his father went. It was becoming clear that Seravath either wanted the stick back or a chance to share but it seemed the little green agreed with Mylorah that just asking might be tricky. Amagrith was a darling but she had a lot of gold attitude that could appear as well. So how did she bring it up without causing any sort of scene? "Amagrith?" She smiled and pointed at her head when the gold looked her way and then thought about a time as a kid that saw R'dare hand out a couple little dolls that his mom had made with scraps of fabric and their little group playing and passing them around. Mylorah felt Amagrith's confusion turn to understanding and excitement and she smiled when the stick was repositioned so that each young lady could chew an end without too much issue. She had a few minutes alone with it and now she could learn the joy of sharing.
That settled, her attention was fully back on Tazikel and her mission to cheer him up again. "I don't think your mother dislikes me so let her know I will keep an eye on you and your virtue." She knew she wouldn't have much influence as a goldrider but the little she would gain combined with trying to be nice to everyone over the years might sway enough to leave her greenrider boyfriend alone. But that would also depend on what the future held since they were still so early into their weyrlinghood.
Thinking too much on that had emotions springing up that were better left untouched--for Amagrith's benefit, of course--and Mylorah smiled at the thought of letter writing. "V'ra would be grumpy about paper because her mate is Harper trained and he's always writing and composing things so she might have to take from his pile." Probably not, since she was certain the Weyr had a little supply outside of an introverted bluerider's hoard. Still, it was a funny image and Mylorah shared it aloud for them all, describing V'ra sneaking in and quietly rolling up sheets and tucking them in her shirt before tiptoing away again.
"But I wouldn't mind helping you write letters," she offered once the giggles had passed. They wrote to each other at times in between getting to see each other again and she always enjoyed it. People always complimented her penmanship as well so it wasn't like anyone would receive anything illegible. "But maybe just a letter to your mother for now. You can also make Yfris do some work and write letters on your behalf. His job is Weyr-Hold relations or something like that. He can let everyone know I finally corrupted you and you ran away and became a fabulous dragonrider. So many will be jealous."
