Hello loves! While I haven't been writing, I have been working on updating some issues that have been hanging around on the layout! The Character change box is now at the bottom of the page, beside the up/down arrows! Green and Gold dragon flight dates have been shifted to the bottom of the page, where the (useless!) discord widget was located. Where the dragon flights were in the header, is now replaced by a Monthly Event box! This will be updated at the start of each month, with a fun mini-event you can take part in, if you want to! Egg 8 for Chironhes:
Aren't you hot sitting there on the sand? Sometimes the egg thinks it's hot and that a nice soothing swim would be just the thing. It curiously digs into your head, rummaging around curiously trying to learn as much as it can in short order. Oh! You've accomplished quite a bit. Reading? That seems fancy. How does that even work? Why would you have to learn it? Huh so you can't talk? But it can hear you just fine right now. Still you've gotten a lot done it seems and in such a short time, the presence seems impressed, but you get the feeling it's not quite sure just how impressed to be as it studies you. Eventually you can feel an almost shrugging motion as the presence withdraws without any further consideration.
Egg 24 for Ulliendis:
Ohmyhiiiiiiii!!!!!! You feel the presence eagerly brush against your mind and softly curling up around it for a snuggle. What are you doing? What do you like? You seem nice! Interesting! Cool even! Would you teach it things if it asked? Would you bring it to parties? What are those anyway? Oooh! Those look fun! And oh! That looks really fun too! And that! That looks less fun, but oooh. The presence immediately gets distracted with one shiny thing after another, poking and rolling and curling up around your mind and asking innocent and silly questions before it finally runs out of steam and just seems to curl up and have a nap.

Who was your friend you smiled at? What sorts of things do you do with her? Oh! Do you plan on doing any more? Oh maybe you could do something nice and fancy together! You could hunt something, present it as an enticing gift... oh you have had some adventures recently! With your siblings too! It's good that you all survived, it should make for an interesting story. It's nice that you make stories, but it would be nicer if you added a bit more affection, a bit more sweetness, some love and adventure and brilliant shining idealism. You don't seem very romantic though, maybe give it a try? You seem really nice and this egg seems very curious and hopeful. It tries to give you a gentle encouraging nudge before retreating.

There's a soft giggle in your mind. What has you in such a tizzy? It's nice that you'd try to fight for your friends, you should be able to do that, but the fact that you wanted to fight an egg is a bit amusing as it conjures its own little images of a man punching a giant egg shell over and over again only to have the egg topple over and crush him. Hehe. It knows that's not necessarily the right idea but it's fine, you're plucky and that's good! What other fights have you gotten into? Do you have any fun stories? Know any jokes? The presence will stay for as long as you have fun jokes and anecdotes to share before it wanders off.

The presence seems to circle you, poking at the edges with idle curiosity. You seem to have a lot of shame for things you haven't done. Why? Why be ashamed for the imagined perceptions of others? Who is S'far? Why should you suspect he would tell you anything otherwise? Ah. Perhaps you should focus more on your strengths, there's a lot of good in there that the presence can see, a lot of potential, but it won't matter if you're so distracted with your own shame that you don't take advance of them. If you do insist on keeping that emotion, perhaps use it to motivate yourself? The presence seems to think you have it in you and it wishes you luck before it stalks away.

There's a bit of added pressure as the presence from the egg pushes deeper into your thoughts, your memories, digging around curiously. It finds it sad that you were sent away by people who didn't want to accept you, sad that you still have to hide a few things, keep secrets. But while others aren't very accepting of some aspects of your life you seem very accepting and open to others. That would normally be a good thing, but there's something about the secrets and the games you're willing to play with them that the presence finds distasteful. It roots about a bit more before pulling away and leaving you alone.
