Some things aren't meant for everyone, or even truly desired. Her thoughts of being with her favourite Holders were just whims, Mylorah tried explaining. She knew she would never be happy in a Hold or married. Far too many rules and restrictions for her liking. But a little fantasizing didn't hurt when indulged on occasion; just like worrying sometimes was okay as well. It felt like forever passed by as Mylorah willingly shared her feelings and thoughts about daydreams and what she might actually want and should try to get. It helped clear her head a bit and by the time the presence left her with a nudge of encouragement, she was smiling.
"No more heavy thoughts, I promise. How will I fly if I'm so weighed down?" Mylorah actually did feel lighter on her feet as she walked away, doing her best not to actually skip. That might be seen as too enthusiastic around the eggs and she didn't want to be shrieked at or devoured that day. She paused when she reached the outside of the eggs and watched the rest of her group continue to move around and switch eggs. She had only Touched two but it felt right to stop. Both had been positive experiences and it didn't matter if neither ended up destined to be her mate. They made her smile and feel better about issues she hadn't fully allowed to grab her attention because she had been so caught up in looking after everyone else--like K'dar. She would go spend time with her brother and Tiberuth later and tell them how the Touching went and be there for him though she wished she knew how to help him. He had been so happy and making plans...
No. Happy now, mourn later. She could spare a few hours of happiness for herself and it wouldn't end the world. And she had to catch up with all of her friends and siblings to see how the eggs treated them. That was why she made her way over to the stands so she could watch them, especially Chironhes as he continued making his rounds at his first Touching.
