There was a bit of conflicting emotion running through Gangleri as he kept glancing over at Mylorah. On the one hand she was crying and he couldn't do more than gently squeeze her hand and pass her a handkerchief, but on the other hand it was an immense compliment to the play he'd written and the performance of the actors he'd taught and worked with. He couldn't help but be pleased with her reaction, and as the play closed her praise just made his heart sing even more as he reached over to pull her into a hug.
"Thank you very much for sharing so many of your stories." Gangleri resisted the urge to linger in that hug, instead releasing her and nodding. "And of course you can meet the actors. They will all be at the party and Geric can point them all out for you if they decide to be tricky and not be in costume. It depends on their mood if they stay in them or not." He took a look around the audience and spotted a familiar face and couldn't help the twitch at the corner of his lips. It was inconvenient the man had chosen this particular showing to attend, but at least he'd finally come.
He turned to Geric and gave him a pointed look. "I have some administrative matters to handle for the play, do keep Mylorah entertained." Administrative work was the bane of everyone's existence, which had always made it a very fitting and common code phrase for the more unsavory tasks his former specialty occasionally demanded. When his brother offered to proofread, Gangleri just brushed it aside. "I'll be fine, I'm sure. You focus on your date."
He gave his brother a wink at that little bit of teasing before giving Mylorah a bow and taking her hand to trace his lips over her knuckles in a suitably dramatic gesture. "Thank you again for your help and patronage, I will see you later at the party. If you need a bit more time I'm sure Geric can give you a quick tour of the facilities." Not wanting to lose sight of his target he quickly excused himself and made his way to the man to greet him in a friendly and enthusiastic fashion.
