Gangleri nodded, smiling. "Then he can have it, B'jin should be able to get it finished rather nicely. I'll just pack the instruments together so that they're secure enough you won't have to worry about them too much on your return trip. Hopefully your brothers like them." Especially Gail. But he'd fretted enough about him and the other attacked brothers through letters, he didn't need to cling to that worry while she was here in his home.
When they entered the kitchen he couldn't help but smile as he watched Quil busy herself with the meal. But then he was struck with a moment of worry as glanced down and saw Mylorah staring at his wife. He couldn't quite read the emotion on her face, but he quickly dismissed the concern as she was suddenly filled with her normal joyful exuberance and hugging Quil. Gangleri let out a soft chuckle as he leaned against a counter to watch the two women.
The reaction she had to his wife's comment about their sorcery made him grin. "That's right, two sorceresses in one room. Clearly I am a doomed man." He was going to obey her command, even if he suspected it was just so the two could have a moment alone to have some sort of conspiratorial conversation. But then he did have an honest moment of concern as he watched Mylorah run off in delight to fetch his brother. She was certainly intense and personal, and those were not things Geric was used to dealing with. The fact that he'd slept with anyone at all was a shock, a woman he'd knocked up had been all the more shocking. Ah well, it would probably be a good learning opportunity at least, he thought with a small shake of his head.
"I'll give her a few minutes at least, or wait until I hear him scream or cry." It was only partially a joke, but he figured the odds of Mylorah somehow getting that far were pretty low. As excited and friendly and lively as she was, she was also rather kind and observant enough to notice if she made Geric too distressed.
Brushing thoughts of his brother aside, Gangleri closed the distance to his wife, carefully made sure she wasn't wielding anything dangerous or otherwise occupied, and then wrapped his arms around her in a fond hug. "This was a nice idea, you look absolutely beautiful, and dinner smells delicious. I'll go wash up, let me know if there's anything else I can help with when I get back. Unless I have to rescue Geric from our very enthusiastic and friendly guest."
