It was early, far too early, and K'dar hadn't managed to get any sleep at all the night before after getting kicked out of the infirmary and distracting himself a bit with Chir. At least he didn't have to go back to Telgar for a bit, and he even brought a pitcher of klah as a bit of a peace offering for the healer, mumbling apologies for his behavior the prior day. Rh'us had taken the pitcher and poured himself a mug before huffing slightly and waving him off. "Go see your siblings. Zoremet seems stable for now, Orgailian... well just stay out of the way when I go in for the next round of medication. Which I can't do any sooner than scheduled or further complications will develop."
That last sentence were practically growled at K'dar who cringed and nodded. "Understood." He quickly went to go check on his brothers, noting that Pit was in his brother's bed again, her tiny green chest still rising and falling a bit too fast from her distress, wing still bound tightly against her side, front leg still wrapped in a cast. Zory at least wasn't as pale as he had been, so that was good, and his stitches were looking... horrible. K'dar sighed as he walked over and frowned, getting a better look. It wasn't that they were done sloppily, every single stitch was neat, from the ones along his neck, on his jaw, chest, arms... had he already been missing the pinky or had the healer removed it?
K'dar frowned as he stared at Zoremet's left hand, trying to remember. When he had first arrived at the infirmary there had been so much blood, and then while the healers had worked on him he'd tried to focus on keeping Gail company and staying out of the way before the downturn and... he turned to go check on his other brother, curled up on his side with a bucket nearby in easy reach. At least the bucket was empty for now, though the smell of antiseptic and blood and sickness was still heavy in the air so it might not have mattered even if it was full.
He sighed, running his hand through his hair as he started to just ramble aloud. "I'm back... sorry I was an ass and got thrown out. I worry... I wish one of you could tell me who did this so I... it doesn't matter right now. I'll be here at least. Tay sent a letter saying they were going to let us use some of the spare weyrs while you two are in the infirmary so I'll be stopping by until you get better enough to be sick of me. Just... don't make me live in Benden for long okay?"
