Yfris had spent most of the day drinking and being fabulous on Tazikel’s personal party ship. There had been talks of ignoring the feast and continuing to float aimlessly within the bay until well after the sun set but he hadn’t fully corrupted his friend yet and Tazikel pointed out responsibilities. Truthfully, Yfris would have done the same thing if his Hold hosted a Gather but he didn’t need to point that out.
They had docked not too long ago and while most headed toward the Hold to tidy up and prepare for dinner, Yfris continued to stroll around, a glass of the finest Tillek wine in hand as he did have a reputation to uphold—and he simply wasn’t done enjoying it yet. He was doing just that, taking a sip as he glanced out at the crowd while continuing to walk when he ran into a wall.
Yfris sputtered as he lightly choked on the wine that he wasn’t now wearing and glanced up from his shirt to find the immovable object was a whole tall drink of water that he should have been enjoying on the ship all day in between bottles. “Even if I was watching, I would have purposely angled for this collision,” he replied with ease and a grin, hoping he had wiped away all of the wine-drool in time, though he couldn’t do anything about his shirt.
“I’d ask if you came here often but I don’t so it would simply be a waste of time and a shame to hear you don’t frequent my Hold as often.” Yfris didn’t bother to look to see if the man wore any sort of stripes to indicate if he was a crafter or dragonrider as he would have acted the same way regardless. Life was a lot more fun if one didn’t limit themselves.
