Ronarth!
It was the first time she had spoken to him of her own accord, and fear flooded her voice. Even she knew there was no point contacting Larrikith, she was fractions smaller than her own self, too small to be of any aid right now. She heard and felt Nirinath's presence, and knew she too was of no help. Laden with eggs and on the verge of being grounded due to them, the Gold had no chance to reach them. So her only hope lay in the shining Bronze she had so desperately tried to ignore and avoid.
She screeched in fear and pain, flinching as Ronarth slid beneath her. Panic flooded her mind as the pain finally reached her rider and she realized what was occurring, something which definitely wasn't going to help the situation. When he reached out to grab her, Grith flailed in her panicked state, how was him holding onto her going to help?! In the back of her racing mind she could hear Par'a's running stream of questions, as well as feel her accessing her eyes. This only proved to worry Grith further. It wasn't until she felt ichor on her hide that she froze. Without meaning to she had lashed out in her flailing at Ronarth, claws sharp and extended. I'm sorry! I just, I… I don't want to die! These words were loud and filled with terror. Par'a's voice entered her mind soothingly, like a mother stroking her child's hair to soothe their tears.
Grith's posture relaxed into Ronarth at Par'a's strong-willed instructions. She withdrew her claws and held onto the larger Bronze, her body trembling as she waited, her faith completely bestowed in Ronarth. Right now she could do nothing, flapping her uninjured wing would unbalance them, so she brought it in against her side until someone told her to do otherwise. Her eyes whirled a mixture of grey, white and yellow, the deepness of the grey belying how much pain she was in.
