So far the hatching seemed to be going rather well. The babies were hatching at a good pace, none had gone between, and other than the storm it seemed like a rather good night. Maybe it would be good enough that he'd get to watch a sibling impress!
B'kit and Erebuth have been struck by the storm, the healers are seeing to them. K'dar sat bolt upright, his head immediately turning to follow the healers as they sprinted out. "Oh no, not Kitt..." he knew it was a mistake as soon as he'd said it and he immediately grabbed onto his sister to keep her from doing anything rash.
"The healers have him, it's okay," he said in hushed whispers. "I think he was hit by lightning?" Tiberuth quickly confirmed and K'dar nodded. "Tiber will let us know if anything changes." The bronze had already begun to move, settling in to cuddle with Semath with a soothing rumble, quietly offering her a bit of reassurance while also thanking her for updates.
K'dar gave Mylorah a tight hug then tried to encourage her to sit back down. "We have the rest of the hatching to get through and even once that's over we should stay out of the way until the healers are sure they're fine enough for visitors."
