T’ryn paled when he saw Zelana. Of course she would be there—she was dating his brother! He knew this moment would eventually come where his mate would meet his secret lover and wasn’t that part of the stupid thrill he got with the sneaking around? He knew Cazan’s lovers and she knew he had one, just not who it was. He felt a bit horrible for keeping it from her but the fact that Zelana was dating A’tay was enough reason to keep it quiet. He didn’t want to think about what Cazan would think about his kinks or that he was an awful brother for doing what he was doing.
He wasn’t the best at lying but he was confident he did well in pretending something wasn’t happening and greeted Zelana and A’tay like he normally did when he dropped by Ista. Still, he quickly turned his attention back to his mate, smiling and returning the squeeze to his hand. “I told you they’d still love you,” he teased Cazan and kissed her gently on the lips. He was blaming the hormones for the fear that had cropped up after they became mates but Mylorah’s greeting seemed to help calm her down.
But Mylorah’s words about Yfris had him frowning at his sister. “How well do you know Yfris?” The grin he was given in reply was enough to make him groan. Not only was he in… something with the lordling, but from what Cazan had told him, it seemed like K’dar was sleeping with Yfris, and Mylorah had at some point as well. “Your husband is going to get punched one day—and not by you this time.” T’ryn felt it was best to forget he learned anything that night and hoped K’dar stayed in the dark as well.
“Oh, there’s Zor!” T’ryn quickly changed the subject as he pointed out his brother to Cazan. He’d already introduced them soon after Zoremet arrived in Fort but it was good to know where people were on the Sands and that was the sibling he wanted to focus on as he pretended he wasn’t tangled up in the love lives of three other siblings.
