"Heh, I suppose. Still, it'll be easier to handle once I actually am a Weyrleader and even then I think I would like it better if my personal life was kept separate from my work. But we'll see how things go." K'dar couldn't help but chuckle a little at the thought of just throwing it into someone's face and playing it cool. He wasn't there yet, but maybe one day he would be. Yfris had certainly forced him to learn a bit about thinking on his feet when it came to talking to the man's family on occasion.
He couldn't help but pout and try to defend himself when she brought up women. "I don't think they're all delicate flowers! I don't think you're delicate you're my sister. I don't know. I'm more used to making sure everyone stays out of trouble and keeping an eye out for jerks, and there are definitely a lot of jerks out there." K'dar huffed slightly, though he did have to admit his sister was probably right. "We'll see how things go, I'll try to be a bit more... open minded I guess."
With another grumble, K'dar moved to pull Mylorah into a tight hug. "You'll Impress a dragon soon enough, especially now that I've starting spending more time helping S'far and learning about running a Weyr." With another squeeze and a sigh he responded to her main point, "I know it's not a race, and really I'm very happy for him. I'm still trying to figure things out is all, and sometimes thinking ahead and wondering how things could go helps. And talking to you has actually helped some too, so thanks for that." He paused for a moment and then couldn't help but snicker. "You really think I'll find a nice attractive woman to beat me up and give me children, huh?"
