"Grandpa? Grandpa! I'd need children of my own to have grandchildren and even then I'm not that old!" Gangleri stroked his beard in a moment of annoyance. Was he that old? If his first child with Kathany had come to term that one would only have just turned fifteen. Entirely possible, he supposed, but not the most likely thing. He shook his head at the thought. "Nevermind, even if I could have been a grandfather my memory is certainly not affected by age. If anything it's much more likely from the wild antics of my youth."
Gangleri studied Mylorah with a frown, noting her rather defiant attitude as she watched him in return. There was something about stubborn women, especially ones who pushed him about, that he found endearing. He enjoyed those sorts of lively personalities much more than the quiet demure maidens that needed more constant assistance. While Gangleri was just as likely to help a maiden in distress, there was just something much more engaging about someone who would fight back and even torment him.
He couldn't help but smile a little. This was the sort of thing he'd have expected from Javira... he did his best to dismiss the thought and smile with a scowl. "Fine, fine! Yes these would be for Quilriana then. Try them on, tell me if they're comfortable and if you'd think they'd suit. Though if you do spot anything you would be interested in for yourself you should at least indulge a disgruntled old but definitely not a grandfather and let me acquire it for you so that I can at least pretend I did something to help keep you warm."
