Mylorah nodded in agreement that it was people food, not Chuck food. But as soon As Fetch turned away, she quickly gave the cookie to the firelizard and waved him off to eat it in secret. She then pulled another one from the bag and returned to smiling and waved it again when Fetch turned back and came over. She didn’t want her own firelizard but they were adorable critters that she liked to spoil.
As he came in close for the bite, Mylorah wrapped her legs lightly around him to keep him trapped for the moment. She was still smiling, glowing at the praise that she made him happy by being around. That’s what friends were for! She wanted to make work a little easier or more enjoyable and generally make life fun for everyone. At the mentioning of the Hatchings and Healer Hall, the smile flipped into a small frown but Fetch was once more giving her compliments and she couldn’t help but brighten up again.
“You are too sweet, Fediletch,” Mylorah leaned forward and gave him a quick kiss to the lips and offered up another bite of the cookie. “But I don’t know. My bedside manners are amazing—in several ways as you well know,” she winked but didn’t fill in the blanks. People, including Fetch himself, said he was dumb or slow but Mylorah liked to think he was just naïve and needed a helping hand, not insults.
“I can’t Stand for Aradissicath’s anyway since the new rule is if I don’t join Fort and the Hall before the Hatchings, then I can only visit for ones with a gold and then do the healer stuff if I Impress her.” Mylorah was back to frowning and took a nibble of the cookie before Fediletch finished it off. “But everyone keeps asking me to Stand so maybe if Malvayth has a gold egg I’ll come for it. But you better Impress right alongside me! Or before. I guess I won’t be upset if one of Aradissicath’s babies likes you. I couldn’t blame them for something I’m guilty of.”
