A'tay was thankful for the break and the juice. He wasn't sure how long they had been setting up the bedroom but Ista was already moving into their hot months and moving around the furniture was turning into quite the sweaty exercise. He gulped down half of the juice before giving a grateful sigh, already feeling a tad more refreshed already. He nodded at the idea to do the other bedroom next but it could wait a few more minutes as they enjoyed the snack that had been brought up. Not knowing the hour, but suspecting it was late in the day given the time they started hauling items up, A'tay had a feeling this was going to end up being their dinner. He'd try to make sure they got down to the Dining Cavern before everything was packed up for the night, though.
After snacking and chatting, the moving began again. The spare room was a lot quicker since it didn't have much to go in and was a smaller room on the whole. The living area was where the real fun began as the larger items were brought in and the ideas for how to set the room began. A'tay had no idea why Madiquel put so much faith in him when it came to style and decorating but it was a nice confidence booster even as it put a lot of pressure on him. He didn't want to leave her with something nonfunctional or that she absolutely hated but their spirits were both still high and laughter sounded every time they tried the couch in a new position before it ended back in the original spot.
At one point, Xyxyth pointed out the time, causing A'tay to check the sun's position when he was on the ledge to grab a table. He knew his earlier thoughts of getting them to break and get dinner would interrupt the flow and he didn't want to leave Madiquel with anything left undone. So he had Xyxyth ask Syrendryth if T'ryn could bring some food by if he was free. He could have asked for a drudge to do that but everyone would be busy running dinner that he didn't want them running around the Weyr for him. Brothers ere fair game, though.
The knock came when they were unrolling a rug and A'tay jumped up to get the door. There stood T'ryn and Mylorah--likely hijacked on the way and too nice to say no--each carrying some plates. "Dinner's here!" He called to Madiquel with a laugh, taking a couple of the plates and setting them on the kitchen counter before getting the other two. He heard his siblings promise to visit her soon so they could get the full tour once everything was done and he waved as they departed.
"I didn't want to risk you missing a meal so I asked T'ryn to bring something up," he explained, going back to straighten the now unraveled rug. "I wasn't sure we would finish in time, though I think we would have. But, we won't tell them!" He laughed again, smiling at Madiquel and then surveying the room once more. He thought it looked pretty good!
