The hair ruffling got a deeply unimpressed pout from Tazikel, and he brushed his hair back in an attempt to neaten it before responding. “Hmn, I did run into Kordiavis at the Telgar Gather, and he did invite me to visit, but not to the Hatching specifically. The invite did indeed come from a pretty girl. What can I say, I was loath to refuse her,” he said lazily, rolling over a little and noticing Azrin’s boots were back on his bed. Tazikel frowned at them, deeply offended, but put off retaliating just yet. Instead, he focused back on Azrin’s face.
“You know, it sounds rather like you know a Weyr girl or two yourself.” Tazikel raised an eyebrow at Azrin, assuming he was right. Azrin clearly thought there were lovely ladies at the Weyrs, and if it was inevitable for Tazikel to discover it, he didn’t doubt Azrin had learned it first. That was how most things went, since Azrin was older and paid more attention to things over all.
