She half wondered if she had done something already. She had been escorted to Masterhealer Verec's office by a Journeyman healer, and she could kind of tell that that Journeyman didn't like her. Did someone else mess this up for candidates already? She was walking into this interview now worried that she was going to be denied, but instead, she was basically being ignored. He did acknowledge her being there, but he had gone back to reading his paperwork. She didn't really mind it honestly, because that meant that he wanted to make sure that things were taken care of properly. So instead of doing anything to make sure that her presence was truly known, she just stayed in her spot and looked around the room.
She knew that it was going to be full of paperwork, just because he was the Masterhealer. But she was soon taken from her thoughts when he did finally speak to her. There was no introduction, now how are you, no can i get you anything. No, instead, it was straight to the point of why she was here. She knew that he wasn't going to want to basic and obvious answer. No, she had the feeling that he wanted an answer that was deserving of why she was here and why she wanted to be here. So she took a moment to think on her answer. She had a feeling that it might come off as her trying to do to him what he had done to her, but that was far from the case.
"I want to be able to help. I want to help everyone, including dragonkin. I hate seeing people and creatures in pain, it pains me." Her voice was soft, but held a firm stance on her beliefs on why she was there. There was no shakiness in it, which was slightly abnormal, but maybe that was because she was picking at her nails. She was trying to keep her nail picking out of his sight, and she was hoping that she wasn't going to get nervous enough to turn it into the full fledged nail biting that she does do while nervous.
