T’bia’s return trip to M’dox’s weyr was notably less bouncy or speedy, with the accident-prone young man walking with great care so as to not spill any of the liquids (hot chocolate! And klah, in case M’dox wanted it to help him wake up) but he also didn’t want the thick slices of toast with butter and melted cheese to end up on the floor, either! Besides the fact that it would ruin breakfast, T’bia didn’t like making messes for other people to clean up, and he would feel obligated to clean it up himself and then M’dox would no doubt think he’d been abandoned and T’bia just couldn’t have that!
“Oh!” T’bia said, delighted by his ability to renter the room without dropping anything in the process. He stood, surprised and blinking, as he met M’dox’s gentle smile with a wide one and looked around the room curiously. “Thanks!” If the brownrider had asked, T’bia would have insisted he not bother – tripping over pillows hadn’t caused any harm to him, and T’bia was fairly sure it wasn’t possible to trip on a pillow and, like, die – or something (though, honestly, if it could be done he would manage it!) but since M’dox had already done it, and T’bia did appreciate both the thoughtfulness and the actions, he set the platter of food and drinks with great care on what looked to be a wooden chest, and once he was sure it wasn’t going to fall off or spontaneously combust, T’bia turned and bounced with full T’bia energy over to M’dox and threw his arms around the brownrider.
“You’re the best!” Grinning, T’bia nuzzled M’dox’s neck before releasing his friend and peering once more at the wardrobe and surrounding array of clothing. The excitable bluerider bounced a few times on the balls of his feet, before getting distracted again and changing trajectory in mid bounce, plopped down beside the breakfast he’d brought up. “What would you like?” He asked earnestly and with a hopeful smile, as he claimed a cup for himself and poured some hot chocolate into the mug. Setting it aside where he hopefully wouldn’t knock it over, T’bia awaited M’dox’s order.
