Transferred for the short term to Telgar had Daelyne having the time of her life and the most boring moments. Bedith had risen and there were no clutches at Fort she'd impressed at so off to Telgar she'd gone. She only complained a little. Especially when she realized she would only be touching that ridiculous gold egg. When were those stuffy old men going to realize that girls needed to be on greens too. Daelyne would die laughing if some girl managed to walk away with a blue dragon here. She knew Indivara had a blue, Daelyne didn't remember much from that impression, but man wouldn't it just be hilarious to watch them spit and sputter if some tit haver walked away with a blue? A riot.
She heaved a sigh and cranked an eyeball out for an opportunity to touch an egg not golden. She'd get that chance without a doubt. She was sneaky and clever. She'd touch more than the gold if she had her way. She moved forward, arms still cross at the chest as the line for the gold egg dwindled down. She tried to be towards the front, figure the more there were left over for the people in charge to fuss at the more likely chances she had in touching a different egg too.
Finally it was her turn and the blonde moved forward to lay a hand on the warm shell of the gold with a quiet hello. She had to admit, color not withstanding, touching an egg was pretty amazing. The warmth of it spread through out her hand and up her arm. She always did enjoy a touching. Not as much as she enjoyed a hatching, there was no comparison to those, but a touching was almost as good. It marked an end to a clutch. The finality of it being on the sands were laid right out there under your hand. A grin bloomed on her face at the thought of the moron who would impress this dragonet. Not her. Her heart was set on green and that was what she was going to get.
