Indivara came to with a sort of woozy fuzziness that told her she’d fainted, though her brain wasn’t working enough at present for her to comprehend that. Her eyes fluttered open, but they were vague and couldn’t see more than the fuzzy outline of tanned skin and dark hair. Her eyebrows drew together, and she mumbled a soft, “Val?” with such confusion that she obviously didn’t believe it was him at all. Moaning softly, Indivara lifted a hand to her forehead, fingers brushing against R’vi’s as she touched her temple. Did she hit her head?
“Not,” she said softly, woozy. The hold was all wrong for V’ler, and he didn’t smell like her mate. But the voice she could hear murmuring was familiar and prevented her from freaking out as she blinked, trying to clear her head. Her hand dropped from her temple to her stomach, fingers splayed as she felt the growing bump there. There was a niggling worry about the spawn within; just because Indivara didn’t want it, didn’t mean she wanted something bad to happen now she was stuck with it! Besides, Rhaedalyn would be so upset with her if she lost the baby!
“Val?” She asked, this time her gaze finally managing to focus on the twin that was holding her – normally she could tell them apart without any issue, but her head was too woozy at the moment and all she could tell was that it was a Vian and that that was a good thing. “Where?” Where was she? Where was V’ler? Why was she cold? Indivara shivered and curled into R’vi. “M’head hurts.” She said softly, shifting her hand again to poke gently at the back of her head. It didn’t feel like she’d hit it, more like a pounding headache. Her stomach coiled unhappily and Indivara gave a disgruntled sound of discomfort.
Vara? Venseth asked quietly, feeling her mind clearing up. She’d fainted before, and he’d had to be told by her about how he couldn’t rush in and answer all her confused thoughts, that she had to take a few minutes to get herself under control and her head on straight so everything went how it was supposed to. Indivara’s gaze shifted towards the weyr where she knew the two blue dragons were curled up together. “I’m okay, love,” Indivara murmured softly, before shifting her gaze to R’vi.
“Getting up,” she warned him quietly, before wriggling out of his arms and sitting up properly. Indivara curled her legs under herself, and sighed, rubbing her temple. “Sooo,” Indivara drawled, drawing out the ‘o’ sound as she gently hugged her growing belly. “How are you today?”
