B'jin watched Par'a with amusement as she thought over Erisi and his apparent lack of enjoyment with his lot in life. The man raised an eyebrow as she shrugged off his temperament, but B'jin wasn't so sure. He was pretty sure Erisi was the type to always be sour, had probably been born sour! He highly doubted graduating would make him any more fun. Well, at least he didn't ride a male dragon. B'jin didn't think he'd ever like to be caught in a flight with that one! Blah! Shuddering theatrically, B'jin stole some more of Par'a's food supply, nibbling on a slice of meat with much more delicacy than Par'a.
"I am not!" B'jin objected indignantly, looking scandalised that Par'a could even suggest such a thing as he rubbed at his arm with a sulking pout. B'jin couldn't lie convincingly if he was threatened with Faranth knew what; he was a terrible liar and Par'a knew that better than most! Still pouting, B'jin stole another chunk of bread and picked at it with an amazingly childish air, eyeing his fellow greenrider from the corner of his eye. Her additional words were met with a sudden laugh, throwing off his sulking air without any trouble.
"Twenty lashes, remember?" he quipped, dropping a hand on the opposite shoulder with a slight frown. They were healing well, thanks to Talian, and B'jin was incredibly happy to be rid of the stitches. Now his daily trip to see Talian included massages that were loosening up muscles and making sure nothing healed too tight. He'd hate to be unable to bathe his thankless dragon! Or himself! Half his delight in getting the stitches out came with the fact that he could lounge in a full tub of water once more. Not that he didn't appreciate R'nd's sponge baths... That caused a devious smirk to twist over B'jin's lips and he fluttered his eyelashes innocently at Par'a.
"Well, I exchanged sponge baths for back massages?" he offered, features twisting to mock innocence. Par'a would (he should think!) know better than to think B'jin had any intention of bedding Talian, but like their own relationship, B'jin occasionally enjoyed the scandalous ambiguity he could create by a carefully uttered sentence. While not the biggest fan of gossip, and one of the few that took it with a handful of salt, B'jin did find some of the things that went around highly amusing. Besides, it was fun saying things that would be misunderstood, when you were perfectly aware of how badly they could be twisted.
