An eyebrow arched coyly as Indivara took in the sight of R’nd standing before her, his own basket of goodies in the crook of one elbow. Placing the item he had recommended not getting back on the shelf with all the airs of being unimpressed with it herself, Indivara turned to face her friend, the other eyebrow raising to join its partner. “And how would you know?” She asked, a slow smirk winding its way over her lips. “All you two ever reek of is lavender.” It wasn’t that Indivara disliked the scent, she did actually enjoy it, but there was only so much lavender a girl could take before it was just too much, and between B’jin, R’nd, V’ler and all three of their dragons, Indivara was quite heartily sick of the scent.
Indivara shifted close to R’nd, peering shamelessly into his basked and plucking up the vial of pure lavender oil, she gave it a little shake, as if to point out his very living up to her example, and she tossed it gently back in the basket. “Really? It’s been like twenty Turns. Aren’t you sick of that smell yet?” Considering R’nd was barely into his thirties, it was a heavy exaggeration, but Indivara was satisfied with it. Close enough to the truth to make him twitch, but exaggerated enough to also make him twitch. Perfect.
“Doesn’t B’jin have his own garden of lavender plants, anyway?” She asked, frowning slightly. How much lavender did that greenrider need? She was sure he had a garden of the bushes last time she was in their weyr for lessons, but she honestly had no idea when they flowered or such. Shaking her head, she resisted the urge to roll her eyes as she peered back into R’nd’s basket and picked up the flower. “Is this for B’jin-jin too, or a secret lover?” She grinned, mischievously, and wiggled the flower as she danced back a couple of paces playfully, so he couldn’t snatch it back.
