R’nya frowned at K’tir, his expression irritated as the brownrider turned to him and pointed out that his dragon would object. R’nya was irritated because apparently Xyreith agreed with the brown and that was not a good thing. He could feel Xyreith’s amusement, the bronze still cackling to himself about a well-played prank, and R’nya quickly decided the bronze needed to be punished. Easier said than done, of course, because the first thing that came to mind was refusal to oil his itchy spots, but that was actually dangerous so couldn’t be used. He would think of something – something that wouldn’t impact his, R’nya’s, life. Something.
The frown didn’t fade in the slightest as K’tir moved towards him, and R’nya crossed his arms over his chest and stared at the brownrider in irritation. Between K’tir and Xyreith, R’nya knew he wasn’t going to get any peace any time soon and all he wanted to do was go back to his weyr, and spend time with his girls; it wasn’t like he got free time all that often, and then free time that meshed with Rhaedalyn’s free time was even more rare! And here this obnoxious brownrider was interrupting it and Xyreith was being an enabler. As K’tir spoke, R’nya gave him a flat look.
“I never reply to your letters,” That wasn’t completely true; he had replied to a couple of K’tir’s letters, but that was because he’d received them when he was with Rhaedalyn and allowed her to open them. She thought it was sweet and insisted he answer them, and who was R’nya to say no to Rhaedalyn? “and Rhaedalyn has that covered, thank you. Was there anything else?” The clear dismissal was expected to be ignored, but R’nya still stared at the other man flatly as he waited pointedly for K’tir to leave so he could go back to enjoying his life.
That’s dramatic.
Shut up, you.
