V’ler could only imagine what B’jin had been through during flights given how long he had been a dragonrider and logically he knew he had to rank rather low on the list of rough or horrible partners. Still, he had to ask and found himself holding his breath as he waited for the answer. With each passing month and flight with Veeth, V’ler had come to the conclusion that his own rather neutral personality combined with that of Veeth’s bubbly and lovely personality made him almost benign in flights. It was a good thing as well considering the guilt he already carried for grabbing the wrong random person when he lost. That was something he had worked hard on and was even proud of the progress made. B’jin saying he was fine after another flight with him only continued to lift the young bluerider’s spirits as well.
The constant giggling, however, was beginning to draw too much attention and V’ler started to wonder if the greenrider had hit his head during the flight or had finally slipped into fully mentally unstable. He eyed B’jin cautiously, wondering what the safest route would be for escape and if he should grab clothes or run out naked when an explanation finally came to light. He hadn’t realized R’nd and Ayyonth didn’t enter, though he supposed it should have been obvious. It seemed Veeth only won when Ayyonth and Larrikith decided the older blue didn’t need to chase that time. Those two were tricky on their own but together they were evil masterminds.
That didn’t mean they had to be the only ones to have a little fun though.
“Perhaps they had other plans for the day and there’s nothing to make up for,” V’ler countered with a wicked smirk. Everyone knew R’nd’s feelings ran deep and he would never purposely miss a flight unless Ayyonth was working against him. Most of the Weyr had also seen the bluerider breakdown in hysterics as he watched from the sidelines S’kef win B’jin. V’ler would have never pegged R’nd to be the sort that needed to be dragged away by two men and locked in his hut until he no longer had murder in his eyes but he also couldn’t blame him. S’kef was rather evil and violent and given the shape B’jin had been in after that flight, R’nd had every reason to be angry and want to interrupt the flight.
“Although, if that’s not the case, I’ve heard rumours about some of the better ways to make it up to him,” V’ler offered up after a moment’s pause. Once, he would have been blushing or at least squirming with the thought of B’jin and anyone in bed together but since the first flight together, a lot of that had worn off. He still didn’t enjoy envisioning the greenrider nude but he had seen him in that state too much now for it to scar him too deeply. “I’d avoid starting with licking him like you did to me.” That had made him grimace and thinking about it again also caused his nose to wrinkle in disgust. Who went around licking people?
