"He's talking to his dragon out loud! It's so cute!"
So are you, my dear
I'shan's face immediately heated up. He smiled, coy and self-aware of his own silliness. He hoped he could capitalize on it and cast himself as charming, rather than as a complete idiot. He fluttered his lashes a little and adjusted his position, straightening his back as best he could and eyeing the greenrider with unabashed interest. "Another treat, you say...?" he asked.
He wasn't sure what he was expecting, but he certainly had no complaints. He eagerly returned the handsome greenrider's kiss, pressing his own lips firmly but softly against C'dhin's. When the greenrider pulled away, I'shan followed him as far as he could, letting his tongue slip forward to playfully flicker at his companion's lips before he was out of reach. Boldness was rewarded with boldness.
I'shan smiled as C'dhin pulled away, one hand creeping out to settle onthe greenrider's and grasp at him. He held firmly but not aggressively, indicating that he would very much like the greenrider to remain close, but he would not force him. It was so easy to get carried away with greenriders, but after making his poorly-timed joke, I'shan found himself unusually concerned. He didn't want to scare this one away.
"Thanks," I'shan whispered, his playful and suggestive demeanor fading away just a little bit. He was filled with a sort of solemn warmth. He'd been so lonely since his injury, and even before, with his separation from N'gelt and disagreements with Ceildhe. It was so nice to have company, and so nice to see such wonderful kindness coming from a complete stranger. He expected support from kind faces like R'nd's, but he'd known this man for only a few minutes, and already he felt safe and wanted. Was he jumping to conclusions, or perhaps vulnerable in the wake of a loss? Maybe. but he sure didn't care. I'shan found himself frozen with gratitude and all but desperate for his newfound friend to stay by his side, rather than leave him all alone again.
He swallowed hard and lowered his head just a little bit, trying to hide his blush. "...You're so sweet. Thank you!" His heart fluttered, and he gave the greenrider's wrist a little tug. Don't leave me here alone!
