It seemed to move very quickly from stillness to movement, with flurries of candidates going everywhere. She kind of stood in the background at first, unsure on how exactly to get into the flow of what was happening. The other candidates seemed to ooze out into the nestled eggs, each going and poking at shells, hands touching just so with expressions ranging from calm to excited to confused. It had her standing there for a moment, completely at a loss, before she noticed movement towards the gold egg.
Okalinth seemed intent on letting her gold candidates know that there was nothing to do afraid of, despite the hollow feeling of fear in her stomach. She almost had a panic attack when she saw the dragon raise her claws and thump on the shell. Somehow, the egg seemed fine - even more than fine, quite solid and safe.
A little thrill of lightning seemed to shoot through her, part fear, part relief. The egg was...was fine. It hadn't fallen apart. It hadn't oozed out. She shook a little, wrapping her arms more tightly around herself as she watched. Almost immediately after that, the stream of girls began. She was more than content to let them go first, watching several reactions before they moved on. Each seemed to be alright afterwards...no trauma. Finally, she saw an entry.
After the last little girl stepped up and touched it, her hand resting delicately, Casa made a move to approach. Whoever she was, she nearly shoved someone out of the way, forcing her way in. The little creature seemed rude, but maybe it was just excitement. Casa didn't really care; she was content enough to wait. After she moved on, she came to stand, staring at the pretty shell before faking any confidence she had, lying her hand firmly on the shell and trying to project her curiosity over the nervousness left, letting her mind loosely reach out.
ooc: Silence is Bliss.
