(Leyton), weyrbrat candidate (K'ton's son)
When the egg paused at his touch, Leyton paused. What would the response be? Would this little egg be happy and excited to feel him? Or would he be bombarded with fear and regret? Either of the reaction were so expected as he waited that when he had the sense of wrongness and the demand to please be on his way, his lips curled down in a slight frown of disappointment. That was not at all expected. He quickly removed his hand and stood to move away from the egg. Perhaps the next person would be what the little sprite was looking for.
Leyton moved along in search of another egg. He forced himself to sedate steps instead of the bouncing walk his body wanted to make and found a new egg. He found one of the larger eggs. One that was a simple cream color with flecks of golden brown. He crouched next to the egg and placed his hand along the top. His excitement rose again as he waited for a response from the small dragon inside. "Hello," he said, rather quietly and not at all with a hint of the excitement he felt.
