She stuck her tongue out at him as they crept down the hall a short way, eyes bright. The game was afoot - the last of the rocks were about to be placed, their plans finally in action. As he moved into the classroom, her eyebrows raised. This was going to be a big challenge for him - this one would definitely be noticeable.
Carefully, he crept around the room, placing a rock "egg" in most of the chairs. By the end, each chair looked absolutely ridiculous. The thought of a class walking in for lessons and seeing their chairs made her force her laughter back again. The incredulous looks would be almost too much to miss! Still, she knew that if they 'fessed up to this...it would be problematic. She'd have to settle for hearing the rumors as they started to fly through the weyr.
As Quenym, his expression extremely smug, came quietly sauntering back, she followed behind him quietly, fingers absentmindedly playing with her stone choker. The feel of the smooth stones quieted the little bits of doubt she had about both the stones as well as the fear that there was still hidden problems from the fight they'd had.
As he grabbed her hand, she gladly followed him, the words "sweet heart" ringing warmly through her mind. She darted after him, telling the firelizards to join them in Quenym's room. Carefully, they made their way to the candidate quarters, slinking down the hall before pausing outside Quenym's room. Her heart skipped a beat at the thought of being able to sleep with him again - naps were the best. "Naptime now?" she mumbled, leaning into his side with a sleepy smile.
