O'wain smiled broadly as N'del shifted under his gaze. The older gentleman obviously wasn't one to take to flirting much. He certianly hoped he wouldn't be like that when he reached the greenrider's age. Turning his attention back to the main conversation he chuckled as Alerae gave a dramatic gesture about not having time to indulge in practicing with him.
"My dear Alerae, your mothering skills are most renowed, I am sure you could manage to see the children put to bed in a timely manner, leaving plenty of time for yourself," O'wain placed his elbow on the table and leaned on his hand, peering up into her eyes. Even after two children O'wain fuond Alerae as beautiful as ever.
"You're young yet Alerae, don't give up on standing. As it is we still need all the candidates we currently have to stand at each hatching." The last thing O'wain wanted to have happening again is stealing people from the North. That never did sit right with him, not that he would ever openly stand against it. He hated picking sides, in truth he hated thinking about anything beyond the moment and his duties. And planning parties.
"S'thor is perfect, he enjoys a good party," O'wain grinned. "Now for the rest of the guest list."
He took a drink of his klah to give himself time to think. O'wain didn't know V'riy all that well but the bronzerider must have friends among his peers. "How about his wingmen? We can also just ask S'thor who his friends are too, or make it a open party. Once everbody's gathered you can announce the party isn't juts for S'thor but V'riy as well."
