R’nd surprisingly didn’t mind playing the game and chasing the kids. It was hard to find the right speed, as B’jin predicted, but he adapted rather quickly in his opinion, and felt the kids were having fun. It was a bit scary when R’nd stopped to think about how comfortable all the munchkins were with him and how he didn’t mind them too much either. It was likely due to being a bit tired, B’jin putting him in a great mood the night before, and making sure Amorandii had the best birthday to date.
Still, there was a lot of relief when the game was ended and a new and more sedated one was about to begin. When the flirtatious assistant gave him the candy, R’nd grinned and exchanged some comments with her. He’d always been one to compliment everyone and give light touches, smiles, and words to anyone and not always realize he was flirting. It was just the way he was. The scolding the woman got a moment later went unnoticed by the bluerider as well since B’jin came into his view and that was currently the most important person or thing in the room right then.
R’nd smiled as B’jin sat beside him and the greenrider received a light squeeze to the hand that was briefly stolen before the game started. This game seemed much easier and more relaxed, which was likely why B’jin had joined in. When the package passed to him again and the clanging stopped, R’nd laughed and ripped off a layer of paper. Inside he found a little wooden carving of a wild feline, likely meant to be added to a child’s collection of other animals that they could play out stories and adventures with.
With the question asked in stereo, coming at him from both sides, R’nd laughed again and held up the toy. “I rather like it. Well done to the wood worker.” The feline was set on the floor in front of him so he could easily pass the package on to the next person when the clanging started up again.
