She knew they had been invited to spend time with Ravana, Shanith, and whoever else the pair had gone off to grab but Rhaedalyn couldn’t help but be enamoured with the pretty blue dragon. She could admit it was one part selfishness that had her wanting to spend more time with Aveleth since he was bonded to the man she was so attracted to but for the most part, Rhaedalyn genuinely wanted to know more about the timid beast that made her want to curl up and day dream with him. He had such a pretty hide that seemed to embody dreaminess. It fit, in her opinion, since Z’ia was definitely dreamy! Deciding she would be intruding on the time with the group of friends, Rhaedalyn bounced a bit closer to Aveleth, a large smile on her face that all was well. “I’m ever so glad! Today is not the brightest of days but I think it can still be salvaged and used for more beginnings than endings.”
Was she making any sense? It didn’t matter! Rhaedalyn had her sweet girl beside her and a lovely blue before her. Even better, the two dragons seemed to be getting along well enough, which was a relief! What would she do if Aradissicath was a snob and didn’t want to associate with blues? It’d make for an awkward courtship with Z’ia if their dragons were prickly! You worry too much, dear. He is a bit on the shy side but seems nice enough. Rhaedalyn’s cheeks flushed a deep red as the gold spoke to more than just herself. Oh how she looked forward to the day Aradissicath was old enough to stop broadcasting to everyone nearby and for their bond to be strong enough they could talk privately both ways!
You may, Aradissicath suddenly spoke again and Rhaedalyn squeaked in surprise as an answer to an unspoken question came out. Again she blushed, but a slight nod was given in understanding as well. Still, Rhaedalyn took a moment of studying Aveleth with large eyes. “She means… well, I wanted to pet you, if you’d let me.” It was nice having her own dragon say it was okay to pet another since Rhaedalyn wasn’t all that clear on the limits and boundaries despite all the classes she had sat in for all the clutches she had failed – and finally Impressed – at.
