A'liran scowled. "Lemme see that," he said, scooting closer to examine the paper. He didn't recognize the handwriting. He frowned, tilting his head to one side and then the other, trying to think of who was stupid enough to just leave this out in the open. Was the assassination attempt engineered by idiots? Shards, it just seemed so asinine!
Seijin's nervous question roused anger in the greenrider. He was no fan of D'ren and had yet to decide exactly how he felt about the whole situation; he didn't like D'ren and had often flippantly wished death on the man, but now that he saw it actually happening, he wasn't sure if he meant it. Plus, even if he did, S'kef was ten times worse.
He held his hand out. "...I'll take it to him," he said. He'd gotten in trouble plenty of times, been lashed more than once. He wasn't scared of delivering a stupid found message to the asshole, and there was no reason to risk this poor kid being in that position. "I won't even tell him who found it, if you don't want me to."
