R'nd is collecting those in the Barracks. Larrikith's voice came smoothly almost from no where and B'jin startled, turning to look at her as he tore his eyes from the mess of building and lump of dragon across the Gather Square. Watching the great bronze beast destroy the building had been awe-inspiring and terrifying all at once. B'jin had no idea what it meant as far as D'ren was concerned, but he knew it couldn't possibly be good.
Where was Tsereni? Where were his own children? If Amorandii was in there-! Krypth's has her, and Andi is in Creche, Larrikith soothed even as B'jin's terror charged off in a whole new direction, though the greenrider's trembling body didn't move. Indamor brings her to the Dining Hall. Ayyonth and R'nd will bring the other Candidates. Larrikith had always had more of a head for chaos than B'jin, who had a tendency to freeze up or freak out.
The greenrider wasn't given long to linger in either his fast fear or the sudden relief that his children were safe and that Tsereni was in safe hands; the soft voice of one of his candidates caused the greenrider to turn, hand raising to slick still wet hair out of his face. Did he know what was going on? No, he had no idea what so ever, but B'jin didn't think that would be a very intelligent thing to tell one of his students. Instead, the greenrider nodded slightly. "Check the bath-house for your fellows," B'jin said, speaking lowly but calmly. "Bluerider R'nd is collecting those back in the Barracks. Bring them to the Dining Hall, okay? I'll get those from Craft and Weyrfolk Halls and meet you there. Can you do that?" B'jin waited for an affirmative from the quiet young man before throwing himself atop Larrikith and letting the tiny green flicker between, reappearing between the two Halls.
A moment later, B'jin was herding a group of confused Candidates, both his children, and an assortment of Weyrfolk back to the Dining Hall. Larrikith flickered over head, keeping an eye on everyone and occasionally communicating with R'nd, Ayyonth or Talian. Firelizards were a flittering annoyance to the green dragon, but she didn't comment on them. B'jin ushered his group into the Dining Hall, calling the candidates over to where he was and running through a mental list, frowning impatiently when he realised the numbers that were missing. Firelizards squawking did little to impress the twitchy 'Master as he had Larrikitih check in with Ayyonth; hoping the bluerider had the rest of his class - excluding Talian, and those others invested in the Healing Hall. They had other things to attend to!
They come, Larrikith informed B'jin lowly, as he picked up Amorandii, holding the girl half to reassure her, and partly to reassure himself while Indamor sat at his feet, leaning against his father's legs.
