Sanderon frowned slightly when he heard the words, 'strain' and 'pressure' but he was very relieved that Lymsleia was okay. He still kicked himself harshly for having harmed another, especially a female. It did not matter if she had annoyed him or not, his actions were inexcusable and he knew it.
There were a lot of things he regretted. Having lost his mind was a big one.
When the next set of questions came, Sanderon stiffened slightly. He did not like these questions. Resigning himself to answering after a time of silence went by, he took a breath and tried to collect his thoughts together on what exactly he should share. After another short time past, he turned to Talian and spoke. His voice was quiet and careful in the words he was choosing.
"I have no desire to die." He answered first with a brief wondering about Talian's own experience with that feeling. Letting the thought pass, he continued. "I...uh...exploded a couple days ago. The anger started to take over. It kept getting stronger and I couldn't stop it. I..." He took a deep breath and shifted uncomfortably in his seat and looked down at his scrapped knuckles. "I killed it. It won't be coming back."
After what seemed like an eternity to Sanderon he also admitted quietly, "I can't kill the anguish. It won't leave me alone."
