There was always a desire to rub his hands over his eyes, as if to brush away the lusty haze like he would sleep, after flights but R’nd stopped attempting it after his second victory. It didn’t really do any good since it was a fuzzy mind he was working through and that simply took a little time of revelling in the afterglow and piecing together what he could of what happened. When his lover stirred in his arms, that desire was there but it was ignored as grey eyes fluttered, bringing him back into full control of all his motor skills, and glanced down at the smaller man clinging to him. A smile appeared at the sight of B’jin and the memory of discussing with Ayyonth the merits of entering this chase only held it in place. Of course his proud and confident beast would win after losing the last and then making a show of considering not even chasing Larrikith this time. Sometimes Ayyonth proved the dragon was actually more the predator than his rider.
“Good morning, Sunshine,” R’nd replied after the gentle kiss, still remembering every word and action taken after their first flight together and mimicking a part of it here and there throughout their time together. It was simply an amazing moment in time for the young bluerider that didn’t view his developing habit as something sentimental or anything more than sharing something akin to an inside joke with B’jin. “And so long as I don’t have to write the test, I will be a very happy man,” a soft chuckle at the idea almost turned into a wicked laugh as kinky thoughts of what exactly that could lead to if they were into that sort of bedroom entertainment. R’nd decided it was probably for the best to keep that random image to himself as he was sure B’jin would blush and then worry the bluerider wanted to role play. Why do that when being himself was already working out so well for him?
Besides, B’jin was suddenly depressed and clinging to him differently and while a reassuring hand massaged gentle circles to the man’s bare back, R’nd let the idea drop entirely and gave his friend a moment to come to terms with what Larrikith could do to his day, reputation, and property.
After that interesting turn of thought and moment of soothing silence, R’nd finally caught up to what they had actually been talking about and realized they weren’t in any old location; which he sort of knew given how they weren’t curled up in a nice soft bed. Grey eyes swept over the room from door to knocked over chair to messy desk. Two things were very obvious. One, they were in B’jin’s office, which he recalled knowing beforehand thanks to the Harper’s busy day. Two, R’nd was fairly confident he could map out the progression of their passion around the room. He was highly amused by that already but when the spilled ink pot was spotted, the vain bluerider laughed and held up his hands to inspect for stains and then did the same of what he could see of B’jin. “While we did do a number on your room, and I’ll help you clean it up, it looks like we avoided wearing the ink.” As far as he could tell, anyway. He couldn’t remember seating his lover on the desk but it was a possibility and R’nd wasn’t sure he’d be able to keep a straight face if the greenrider stood and his ass was speckled with ink.
At least B’jin saved him from having to explain the impending burst of laughter at the image forming in his head when a hand started creeping lower down his chest. R’nd loved when the confidence shone through and B’jin dared to initiate something he wanted whether it be sex or just cuddling. Cuddling still wasn’t his strongest area and it wouldn’t be listed among his favourite pastimes but R’nd felt he had improved and if someone kept stealing them, then he had to be doing something right! He let B’jin continue to lead a little longer before playfully taking it away with a nip to his lover’s nose and flipping B’jin to his back so he had a wicked bluerider looming over him, intent on giving the man more pleasure.

“For the record, I’m kind of fond of your dragon,” R’nd purred against B’jin’s forehead as he placed a kiss in the centre. Larrikith’s picky ways had finally played in his favour the last time, combined with Ayyonth’s excellent flying, of course! But the little green also seemed interested in helping at times, or that was how R’nd viewed it since she spoke to him directly and he knew that was a rarity. Given the wild ride the greenpair gave as well, he’d be a fool to complain about Larrikith. Although, there was one thing playing around in his mind that R’nd finally had to say as he drew lazy patterns on B’jin’s back while pretending the floor was a lot softer than it actually was.
“But are all flights with you going to leave us in interesting locations? Or me without my pants?” He was smiling as he spoke, not at all upset, just amused. In a way, R’nd believed Larrikith chose the exact moment that would cause B’jin the most grief and waited to rise.
