Rh'us was quite cross as he drummed his fingers on the desk that was going to be his, in the room he'd worked so hard to get assigned to be his research lab and office. He was fairly sure he'd already repacked everything he'd managed to bring, had those parcels stowed and secured to Hispidath's straps as the bronze waited outside in an even mix of patience and irritation. Can we go back yet? You already have the things you brought, you don't need anything else. And you certainly don't need a candidate's help getting what you don't need.
The healer turned bronzerider ignored the dragon for the moment, fingers continuing to drum before he started to open and close the drawers of his desk to just have something to do. It should have been empty, he certainly hadn't put anything into it yet, but in the top drawer was a larger paint brush. He frowned as he grabbed it and eyed the bristles. It was practically new, just filled with dust. Someone probably had acquired it from an artist and used it for cleaning before forgetting it in the drawer. The brief distraction wasn't lost on Hispidath who curiously gave a peek through his rider's eyes.
Oh, for your models? I found a nice piece of wood out here, I may go back and get you another since I have to wait for so long... The bronze was torn, pleased with the idea of further contributing to his mate's positive hobby but also not wanting to linger any longer than necessary. With a soft annoyed huff he decided that finding that other piece of wood was the more productive option available to him.
Rh'us smiled before Bitty popped into the room and gave him a soft chirp before crawling up to his shoulder. Ah, Ulliendis was almost there. Good. As soon as the candidate opened the door he beckoned him over. "Close the door and come sit down. I've not too much time before Hispidath gets too impatient and tries to just drag me out of here and back to Benden. I'm assuming you're here because you're willing to indulge in my little request, correct?" He raised an eyebrow curiously as he eyed the young blonde.
