“I can move in it just fine and if you stretch it, I’ll make you buy two in apology,” Ulliendis refrained from slapping at the offending hands but only because he was currently changing his own clothing. He’d been wearing the same outfit since rising for the Hatching since he was playing Geric’s shadow. He wouldn’t have minded a bath himself but his day had been far less energetic so it wasn’t dire and shouldn’t hinder his evening. His evening that would be extremely unsatisfying if he only observed with a wild party going on around him. Once Geric hooked up—and Ulliendis was confident it would happen even if Geric wasn’t—maybe he’d look for a lover as well.
Ulliendis slid on one of his elaborate necklaces but looked up at the question and stared at Geric through the mirror. “I love you when you’re sober and drunk you is fascinating but hungover you is running an hour behind us and not doing too much to catch up.” Catching his image in the mirror, Ulliendis decided against that necklace and swapped it out for another one. Better. He stepped beside Geric and wrapped an arm around his friend’s waist and struck a casual pose while his free hand brushed through his own hair for a fluff of its own.
“Fuck, we’re sexy. But yes, we’re attending the Hatching party and it’s my understanding that dinner tonight is the starting time for it so the hall will be open for a while.” He left off that he’d be impressed if Geric managed to even eat anything. He remembered their younger years in lessons, including the ones purposely designed to make them drink to build a tolerance and how to handle a hangover. Smells were no friend of a hangover and neither was most food. But Geric had already surprised him several times in twelve hours so why not continue the trend? “We’ll get you fed, maybe with a drink for your nerves, see your brother, and then go from there.”
