Zory had almost managed to sleep through all of this, but between the Candidate Master and all of his siblings he hadn't been allowed to. Not that he was upset about it! He was happy and excited to meet this batch of eggs, his sister in law and his brother had produced them after all! Well their dragons did. And it wasn't the the brother that the sister in law was mated to. Which... well he guess that was probably why A'tay had seemed so anxious about it all. Still he'd been excited anyway, and since this was an extra familial sort of clutch he was extra excited about it. What if he and Gail and Mylo all Impressed?! He knew things probably wouldn't work out like that, but he could hope.
So he'd touched as many eggs as he could, and even if some of them hadn't liked him, enough did that he still had a good feeling and was in a great mood. Until he walked around an egg and found his food colliding with another candidate and they both spilled over into the sands. Thankfully they were at least further away from the egg rather than closer (and especially not on), and thankfully it was only Cazan who showed up and not a glimmering golden ball of rage. Cazan's words were whispered and rushed as she quietly got them both up to their feet as quickly as she could. "Hey you two how about you run off really quickly before Malvayth tries to find out more about what happened, A'tay can only distract her for so long."
Zoremet was so embarrassed that he didn't even give his brother a glance as he grabbed onto the other candidate's arm and dragged him off towards the stands at the side. "Sorry about that, I didn't see you. Um.. you're... uh... I feel like someone introduced us already. Maybe Siro? Sorry I don't remember your name. But, uh," he lowered his voice as he saw Mal turn her head in their direction, "we should probably be very quiet and not draw any more attention and maybe just sit here in the Stands for a bit."
