Orgailian was relieved to be walking into a Touching without needing a spotter this time. He still didn't feel one hundred percent better and sometimes he was lower on energy than normal but he could walk and stand without a sibling hovering nearby and that was the important part. It was the little things in life. He did, however, have to promise Fetch that they could stand near each other for the Hatching so the big guy could drag him out of danger if need be. It was honestly a compromise since it sounded like Fetch wanted to try and hold him or carry him on his shoulders the entire time if allowed so a guardian at his side was a lot more doable.
But for the Touching, he was free to roam without supervision that wasn't a looming gold shriek beast. He returned the nod given to him, somewhat surprised and relieved Malvayth wasn't in a chatty mood that day. Maybe he could tolerate her for longer than five minutes. He would never understand how T'ryn put up with Malvayth day in and day out practically since she Hatched. Then again, he was a goody-two-shoes and a proper bronzerider so even if he was suffering, T'ryn would smile and push through it.
Enough of siblings and other dragons, Orgailian chided himself. He had his own future to think of and that involved touching some eggs and hoping for the best. He circled around the edge while other Candidates darted into the middle, probably thinking to work their way outward. He wasn't in a rush this time since the heat wasn't bothering him as much as it had in Benden. So he walked around until he stopped at egg 22. No one was at it yet and it seemed spaced out a little further than the rest which was intriguing. Did Malvayth like this one more or less for that treatment? It was probably just accidental and his being smaller than a dragon was likely the only reason the spacing seemed off. Whatever the reason, he was there now and his palm pressed against the shell.
