Catapulted to the group? Kind of, yeah. Some of the past Touchings had some pretty wild eggs that fucked with the mind. Thallyath's first clutch had been awful and a lot of Candidates actually had ended up on the ground as they shrieked and writhed in pain that didn't actually exist. He was one of the ones that had gone on to Stand still but that was due to Casa being a friend more than having any confidence in the eggs while hoping he didn't Impress to the chaotic beasts. Otherwise, so many dragonets hidden away in their eggs were tricky and liked to play games, including the opposite of what was expected. But Orgailian liked this one and the regal airs it gave off. His instinct was to assume it was a bronze, one like Syrendryth, but it could be any colour. There were so many examples of each colour behaving against their usual stereotypes like the greens that viewed themselves as important and sophisticated as golds. ...and then there was Malvayth who was like the ditziest green.
As the presence left his mind, Orgailian supposed it had been right and humans were fascinating. His own interest in history and how people were in the past proved that fact on its own. Even his creative writing was evolving and being influenced by random slices of life moments around him. But he couldn't help but wonder about the parts of his own life that felt like they had disappointed the dragonet. He didn't like having regrets and didn't think he had any aside from the recent one concerning not being able to keep his brother safe.
He supposed some of it just wasn't proper enough for the egg's contents but it had still amused Orgailian enough overall to keep an eye on the egg at the Hatching. He made a mental note to remember the egg's number to see who it went to. He doubted they would bond but it'd be interesting to see who it did pick and what its colour was. "I'll see you soon," he gave his parting words and glanced around, spotting Mylorah contemplating her own egg and then the egg between them that was vacant. Good enough. He felt like he had one more in him before the heat messed with him too much and the closer the better. No time was wasted in considering the egg or his feelings as he set his hand on the shell.
