"The oil," K'dar repeated the words to himself as if that would help jog his memory. It did, but only vaguely. He remembered it had become harder to breathe after a while, that suddenly Tiberuth was complaining of a burning sensation and then... that was it. The rest might have been a dream as far as he knew. He blinked over at T'ryn and was satisfied enough when he only supplied a nod.
Zory finished a mouthful of brownie and added, "You woke up a few times. At least I thought you did. But you were... not right. You didn't know what you were doing, and sometimes you were shaking." The scrawny blonde turned to the other bedbound blonde and quietly asked, "Gail do you think if we crumbled and mixed this up into some milk you could keep it down?"
K'dar only barely heard the comment about the brownie mix, but instead of commenting on how gross it sounded, he just blinked at his sister, brow furrowed in concern. "Sedated..." that certainly made sense, but he didn't like it. "Just have to make sure he stays safe if he's sedated... someone should watch him. Make sure no one can sneak up on him and do anything. More than N'noa." Not that he didn't trust N'noa... he just wasn't sure he could keep Tiber safe from a maniac. It was enough of a concern that he started to push himself back up again before he had to stop and wheeze and settle back on the pillows.
"This sucks," he said with a huff. "It's what I get for not keeping Zory and Gail safe. I just... just need to be able to know where everyone is all the time, and what's going on. Should be easy." He took a few more breaths, the burning making him cough and hiss. "I'll try not to make a big deal of his scars. They aren't that bad are they? Maybe they'll fade?" He was more worried that Mylo had put up a fuss about them. If they were so bad that she had to convince Tiber that they looked good... then maybe they didn't? "He's not... not too bad right? He still looks like himself at least?"
