His excitement at Zoremet being awake and more cohesive vanished when his brother noticed his finger. He seemed to be taking it well but maybe he was still loopy from pain or drugs. Not that Orgailian had the chance to ask as Rh'us appeared and started in on him for leaving the bed. How the fuck did the Healer know? Did K'dar rat him out? Maybe Shadow had come back and turned traitor. He knew it hadn't been the wisest idea to leave the bed--when he fell. Before that point, it had been a great idea but he'd take the tongue lashing. He wouldn't take the cranky ass yelling at a friend trying to help and was ready to try and defend Zelana when Rh'us said what she brought was fine. Good. He was honestly feeling nauseated again and didn't want to speak more than he had to.
He didn't fuss as Rh'us prodded him some more since he did want to recover but he did hate the way Zoremet cringed away from the Healer. He knew how he felt watching from his limited view on the ground but what was his brother going through as the one that had been so savagely attacked? Was he always going to be timid around approaching men now? His friendly and outgoing brother that would hug and nap with anyone. Did he break Zoremet? He shut his eyes and looked away, something that was noted as Zoremet checked in with him.
"Yeah," he lied because what was he supposed to say when talking was a chore and likely to be interrupted by leaning over a bucket? Telling his brother how sorry he was and waiting to be blamed and told to leave Zoremet alone forever could wait a little longer. Maybe when Healers weren't lurking around corners and friends weren't hovering and being so kind. "Just tired," Orgailian added and it was true but also a good cover for avoiding any conversations. With Zory awake, Zelly would have someone to talk to so it wasn't like he had to keep playing host or pretending he wasn't in as much pain as he was. His insides were twisting up and he was ready to ask someone to drop him between so sleep was probably the better option to reach for.
